The Corpse Had a Mind of Its Own

A Polish science-fiction writer, Stanislaw Lem, wrote a novel entitled The Investigation in which a series of dead bodies began to move and caused considerable consternation to those around them. This was long before zombies became popular. I liked the idea. I built it into our weekend and it left our detectives with an interesting little problem.
